Reverse Crunch Modification for Neck & Lower Back Issues

If you find the reverse crunch bothers your neck or lower back – here’s a modification that will help.

It will not only strengthen your core but also your lower back.

It’s also a great post-pregnancy exercises to help regain muscle strength and flatten your tummy.

    What a great excersise. I herniated my disc inbetween L5 and S1 and so some excersise can be really painful. this is such a better way to do crunches for me.

  3. Can you advise how many repetitions would be good to do daily? Thanks

    • Hi Zoe!

      To start you can do 12 repetition of exercise one then rest for a minute. Then for exercise two, 10 repetitions for each crossed leg. Repeat that 2 or 3 times depending on your time and energy.

      Ideally do this once a day when you wake up and then before bed, that way you will see faster progress.
