Coach Carly

Hi team, I’m Carly and I live in Moora, WA.

I grew up in country NSW, after completing my degree in Sport and Exercise Science Rehabilitation in 2010 I moved to Perth to study my post graduate diploma in exercise science rehabilitation.

I gained accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist and worked in occupational health conducting functional capacity assessments and worked in a rehabilitation gym working with seniors.

I’m very family orientated, I have 2 sisters and a brother, all older then me and I’m blessed with 8 nieces and nephews, my parents are absolute champions and we like to take time out on the farm together cooking up BBQ feasts. As a family we grew up water skiing and camping, so it was always in my blood to love the outdoors.

When I was getting on the plane to move to WA my mum said to me “you better not fall in love over there and never come back” I just laughed and said yeah sure mum that’s not going to happen. Fast forward 6 years I’ve just moved from Karratha to Moora and my boyfriend and I are expecting our first baby in January 2018. Sorry mum looks like I’m staying!

My boyfriend and I love the outdoors, anything where we can get moving and have fun doing it! We spend our holidays having active adventures whether that be skiing in Japan, zip lining in Vanuatu, water skiing on the Hawkesbury river or snorkling beautiful coral reefs, we love getting active outdoors.

I keep active playing a variety of sport including netball, basketball and I’ve just started tennis. I have really enjoyed Pilates and lower intensity and impact movements since I have been pregnant and really looking forward to returning to more complex Olympic lifting and circuit training once I have fully recovered from pregnancy!

Over the past 7 years I’ve worked with a variety of different clients – from elite athletes, children with development and learning delays, cardiac rehabilitation, coaching CrossFit, women’s health, chronic disease management and occupational health.

In this time I have learnt how strong the human spirit can be and with the right information and support we really are capable of anything.

I enjoy helping women overcome obstacles and challenges in order to achieve better health and wellbeing. Everyone is different and each of you need personalized support to look and feel your best.

I’m excited to meet you and to help you achieve your health, weight loss and wellness goals!!

    Carly.

  3. Hi Carly,
Lovely to learn a bit about you. I like that you’ve worked with people with different abilities and medical conditions, as a”one size fits all” approach doesn’t work. I live in country NSW, so you’ll understand what is & isn’t available out here. All the best with your baby, take care. I look forward to the future.

      Hi Brenda,

Thank you for the well wishes, only 4 weeks till bub arrives now, its getting very exciting!!

What area in country NSW do you live? I spent my school years in Cowra, Orange and Barmedman so yes I can really appreciate the struggles we all face by living in a rural environment. Over the years I have refined the way I train my clients and getting to know each one as an individual is the most important aspect for me, to really tailor each program to each clients specific needs and goals.

Hope you have had a wonderful Christmas Brenda and lets bring on 2018 with a BANG!!!

      Carly x.
